GLENDALOUGH POT STILL WHISKEY - CL 70

Pot Still Whiskey by Glendalough Distillery, aged three years in ex-Bourbon casks and refined for one year in Irish oak casks (the wood used comes from 140-year-old oaks from the Wicklow mountains). Each bottle is numbered and traceable, even down to the tree it comes from; it is a company that is very attentive to sustainability, for every tree cut down, 7 new oaks are planted. On the nose, notes of cereals, malt, vanilla, oak with cinnamon, along with hints of cloves, tea leaves and brown sugar. On the palate, the taste is oily and slightly spicy, with notes of ginger, pepper, oak, citrus and vanilla, combined with hints of green grass and cereals.
