PASTINI FARAONE VERDECA WHITE WINE VALLE D'ITRIA IGP - LT 0.375
PASTINI FARAONE VERDECA WHITE WINE VALLE D'ITRIA IGP
Verdeca is the best known and most widespread native white grape variety of Puglia, probably of Greek origin, during the colonization of Magna Graecia, or Portuguese, considering the similarities with the Portuguese Alvarinho.
The bunches, even at the peak of ripeness, appear a distinct green colour, hence the name Verdeca.
In the Valle d'Itria area, Verdeca best expresses its characteristics, namely acidity, freshness and flavor, thanks to the calcareous-rocky soils and the excellent temperature range that the territory offers.
Faraone is produced from pure Verdeca grapes.
It displays a straw yellow color with evident greenish reflections. The nose clearly perceives herbaceous hints, it is intense, delicate and floral, with a dry and fresh flavor.
Wine particularly suitable to accompany fish, shellfish and seafood dishes.
