Distilled in the woods of Appalachia and the American South since the 1800s, Moonshine has remained illegal for generations. This American whiskey is produced by the McCormick Distilling Company in Weston, Missouri. Founded in 1856 as the Holladay Distillery, it continued to produce whiskey under different names even during the years of Prohibition.
It originates from ancient traditions and a recipe that has its roots in the 1800s. It is appreciated for its pleasant sweetness which however never hides a strong and full character.
Platte Valley Corn Whiskey is a small batch product created following an ancient recipe that includes the use of only corn and a 36 month aging in American oak barrels. It is bottled at 80 proof. in beautiful ceramic jugs.
