RAMPONE MINUTOLO PASTINI WHITE WINE VALLE D'ITRIA IGP - LT 0.75
RAMPONE MINUTOLO PASTINI WHITE WINE VALLE D'ITRIA IGP
Minutolo is a native white grape variety typical of the very limited area of the Itria Valley.
This variety had been almost completely lost until our family became the promoter of its rediscovery and redevelopment.
A very difficult vine to work, sensitive to some ampelopathies, not very productive, with a strong and particular aroma, a semi-aromatic vine whose presence in the territory of the Itria Valley dates back to ancient times. The old farmers had preferred to uproot these plants to make room for easier to care for and more productive varieties.
It was generically called Fiano but it belongs to the Moscato family. It was our family that gave a real name to this precious and very ancient vine. We called it Minutolo because of the minute grapes that make up the bunch.
The Rampone is a pure Minutolo.
Straw yellow in color with bright, lively greenish highlights. Intense in its aromas, with a strong aromaticity, with strong floral fragrances of hawthorn, jasmine and wisteria, citrus of lime, cedar and green apple, and softer fruity notes such as yellow peach, mango, pineapple and exotic fruits in general.
Fresh, mineral, savoury, balanced, with good acidity and excellent predisposition to aging. Capable of giving exceptional performance with refinement.
Rampone is presented as a white wine made almost specifically for fish, shellfish and seafood dishes.
