PASTINI LE ROTAIE SUSUMANIELLO VALLE D'ITRIA IGP ROSÉ WINE - LT 0.75
PASTINI LE ROTAIE SUSUMANIELLO VALLE D'ITRIA IGP ROSÉ WINE
Susumaniello is one of the most characteristic and representative rediscovered native vines of the Itria Valley. It is a red grape variety grown mainly in the Brindisi area.
It owes its curious name to the fact that the plants, in the first years of life, are very productive, so much so that they become almost disproportionately loaded with bunches, just like a "donkey", a tireless worker in the countryside.
The Le Rotaie rosé is produced from pure Susumaniello grapes.
The name Le Rotaie is inspired by the location of the Susumaniello vineyards from which this rosé is produced, crossed from north to south by the local railway.
The intensity of the colour is due to the very short maceration time of the musts on the skins, from 2 to 4 hours.
Le Rotaie presents itself in the glass with a pale pink color, delicate, elegant even in the perfume, gives intense floral scents with notes of rose and strawberry. Soft, fresh and persistent on the palate.
It is an eclectic wine, its aromas, taste-olfactory consistency and marked freshness make it incredibly versatile: less astringent and more structured than white wines, less tannic and more delicate than red wines.
Le Rotaie opens up a world of gastronomic opportunities in the glass, ranging from aperitifs to soups and fish main courses, through slightly aged cheeses and even white meat dishes.
