RUM DON PAPA MASSKARA - CL 70

Don Papa “Masskara” Rum is an interesting Philippine distillate among the most appreciated by connoisseurs from all over the world. It is produced from excellent local sugar cane, with artisanal processing, in small batches for a limited production. The distillery was created in 2011 in an area where sugar cane has always been grown, thanks to a beautiful warm climate and rich and fertile soils of volcanic origin. The molasses, dense and very sweet, is first fermented and then passed to the distillation phase, in traditional copper stills. The distillate thus obtained is enriched with the infusion of the Philippine Calamansi citrus fruit, which enhances the aromas with fresh unmistakable notes. Then, before being bottled, the Rum is left to mature for at least three years in carefully selected noble woods. Dark amber color with mahogany reflections, it surprises the nose with a rich and precious bouquet. In the mouth, however, it is warm and pleasantly soft, with an enveloping sip, characterised by dense aromas of great gustatory persistence.
