More than a liqueur, Acqua di Cedro Diamante is a family legacy, created by the former owner of the Vecchio Magazzino Doganale, Maestro Giocondo, who wanted to enhance his Calabrian lemons, which he personally cultivated on the land adjacent to the warehouse. It was an immediate success because this liqueur manages to combine the lightness of water with the freshness of citrus, also giving an extra helping hand with the subtle alcoholic vein, which is why it is still among the best known and most appreciated today.
Colorless and crystalline, the nose immediately recalls the typical citrus notes of ripe citrons and lemon, followed by sweeter hints of pear and green apple, with a very light nuance of white pepper in the background. Smooth, fluid sip, does not allow the alcoholic part to emerge in any way, on the contrary, it refreshes lively while maintaining a soft taste. Long and pleasant persistence.
On its own it is a perfect and delicious digestive, but diluted with sparkling water, ice and lemon zest, it becomes a unique tonic!
